The ARCTIC TP-2 (ACTPD00010A) is an economic thermal pad measuring 120 x 20 x 1.0mm, designed for applications where a flexible, conforming thermal interface material is needed between components and heatsinks. Commonly used on M.2 NVMe SSDs, VRM heatsinks, VRAM modules, and other PCB components, thermal pads provide a simpler alternative to thermal paste for flat-surface heat transfer applications.
The TP-2's soft, pliable material conforms to minor surface imperfections to improve thermal contact, and its electrically non-conductive properties make it safe to use directly on circuit board components. The 120 x 20mm format can be easily trimmed with scissors to fit specific component layouts.
